Our home opener was a tough loss. We came out excited to play and ready to get the season started off with a bang. Both offense and defense played lights out but we could not catch a break when we needed one. The improvements we have made from last year and the start of camp are tremendous, and we are sure to turn many heads this season. We need to correct our mistakes and work on the little things that are going to make us a great football team. We have moved on and this week we play Austin College again at home and are ready to show people what the 2009 McMurry football team is all about. Preparation is under way to go out and get our first win of the season.-- Seth Waller #85
